Want to Write for TheoMag?

Great, these are the deets.

TheoMag is a platform for discussing all things spiritual. Since everything is spiritual, that leaves quite a bit up for discussion. The articles that get added to the site are those that take us deeper and expose truth, or the lack thereof. Our goal is to encourage dialogue in matters of importance.

We are looking for occasional guest writers as well as recurring “expert” columnists in a variety of categories, from delightfully deep theology to entertainment engagement to relationships. Review our column categories to gauge where you’d fit. As long as your articles make sense for the site, we’ll keep publishing them.

Submissions to the website are on a donation basis (byline and bio are compensation). Articles are automatically archived.

Submission Guidelines

Articles should be 600 – 1,000 words in length. Topics include (but are not limited to): all things theology, philosophy, leadership, ethics/morality, relationships, career, finance, psychology, entertainment, politics, and self-help.

Make sure that your writing is well thought out and carries an honest and loving tone. Provide attribution for any source material. Write in short paragraphs (2-4 sentences) and use section headings when applicable. Please double-check spelling and grammar before submitting. All articles will be edited for length, grammar, content, style and tone.

How to Submit

Step 1: Send a one-paragraph query via the contact form. Include a summary describing the article idea, an approximate length and date it could be finished. If you already have a finished version, include it.

Step 2: If your submission is accepted we’ll let you know and include instructions on registering for the site (we use WordPress).

Step 3: We publish your article and together we tell the world about it.
